I wonder sometimes how my family would be different if I wasn’t Autistic. Would life be easier for them? Would my parents stress less? I think indeed life would be different, but not better. In my own wacky way I help sculpt my family into the people are, as they change me by who they are.
I have a lot of respect for families dealing with a special needs member. Especially parents! They want so badly to help their children, yet find them many times to be challenging and confusing. Well…

Well my fact about autism is that four times as many males as females have autism.

I try to meditate to relieve stress – doesn’t have to be a big ordeal. I just close my eyes and focus on my breath. I would say this works 90% of the time for me to calm me down.
My favorite apron is the Rock&Roll pink.

As for relieving stress…meditation really does help, so does Yoga, a healthy diet full of fiber and green veggies, and when stressing out, sugar and salts are especially best to stay away for. Most importantly, have someone who you can talk to, who will listen to you! A shoulder to lean on is always important.
Autism – there are more male children diagnosed with autism than female children.
P.S. you are WAY more than just a number! 🙂 Remember that.

My stress reduce tip is to learn a few simple yoga moves. That way you can bust them out whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed and they work really well for reducing stress.

My simple tip on relieving stress is to find a room where you can be completely alone, turn the lights out and make it as dark as possible and have a nice cold drink like water or ice tea and just relax in the quiet and take slow deep breaths.

About 1 to 1.5 million Americans have Autism.
The easiest thing is to take one hour a day all to yourself and have a cup of ice cream. You can be dieting and stressing. But really everyone needs one hour.
It has been proven time and time again that Autism is not caused by vaccines (it just happens that symptoms appear around the same age vaccines are given). It is important that everyone knows this so that we can give our donations to more worthy autism charities and make a real change!

One way I like to de-stress is to cuddle under my covers with a book. If I happen to fall asleep…so be it! lol
Another way: folding towels. Weird.
One fact: Children with high functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome are often misdiagnosed and underserved* in our country.
